H2H 3. 104. The Murder of Margaret Lawrence. Fame, Fortune, Love, Loss, Booze and Broadway.

When police were called to a swanky Midtown apartment in New York City on June 9 1929, they weren’t too concerned. It was the roaring 20’s in America, and socialites didn’t let prohibition put a damper on their partying ways. But when the NYPD arrived at the top floor apartment at 51st and 5th Avenue, what they found wasn’t a party, but a dead silent movie actor and his Broadway star girlfriend. But who would want to bring the celebrity couple’s life to a tragic end? This is the story of fame, fortune, love, loss, booze and Broadway. This is the Murder of Margaret Lawrence.
