Christmas Day, 1929, Germanton, North Carolina. The Lawson family–all 9 of them– are preparing for the day. Son Buck is hunting, daughter Marie has baked a cake, the Mother, Fannie is taking care of her smaller children and running the house. But it wasn’t a silent night, holy night for this family. Father, Charlie Lawson would murder his family, one by one by one.. But why? Some say he had a head injury that caused him to go mad. Others say Charlie had a secret.
