On the night of December 19, 1979, Michelle Marie Martinko was just like any other eighteen-year-old girl. She was getting ready for Christmas. But after some late night shopping at a new mall, Michelle never came home. Hours later, she was found dead in her car, suffering 29 stab wounds to her face, body, neck and hands. There were no suspects. No clues. For forty years this case would remain cold, but far from forgotten.
